KNOW WHERE YOU STAND +

THREE LOCAL BUSINESSES. ONE CLEARER PICTUREOF THEIR CYBERSECURITY.

Tanosec exists because we believe cybersecurity starts with understanding.

To mark the launch of the new Tanosec, we’re offering three Bloemfontein businesses a complimentary cybersecurity assessment.

We’ll take a practical look at your business from both the outside and the inside, identifying potential exposure, everyday security gaps and areas that may deserve closer attention. Then we’ll explain what we found, what it actually means, and what we’d address first.

No scare tactics. No sales ambush. Just a clearer picture of where you stand.

WHAT WE’LL LOOK AT

This isn’t a penetration test, and we won’t attempt to exploit or disrupt your systems. Instead, we’ll look at areas that can tell us a surprising amount about a business’s security posture:

EXTERNAL EXPOSURE+

What can someone outside your business discover about your systems, domains and online presence?

WEBSITE, DOMAIN & E-MAIL SECURITY+

Are there obvious weaknesses, misconfigurations or missing protections?

DIGITAL FOOTPRINT +

What information about your business, people and technology is publicly exposed?

EVERYDAY SECURITY CONTROLS +

We’ll talk through areas such as MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), passwords, access, backups, phishing awareness and how sensitive information is handled.

PRIORITIES+

Most importantly, we’ll separate interesting problems from the ones that actually deserve your attention.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

You won’t receive a scanner dump and a handshake.

Each selected business will receive a short, plain-English Tanosec assessment report covering:

+ What we found.
+ Why it matters.
+ What we’d fix first.

We’ll also spend 30 minutes walking through the findings with you, so you can ask questions and understand what your next steps should be.

There is no obligation to purchase anything from Tanosec afterward.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

We’re looking for three small or medium-sized businesses in Bloemfontein and the Free State where this assessment could genuinely be useful.

You don’t need an IT department.

You don’t need to understand cybersecurity terminology.

And you certainly don’t need to know what’s wrong before applying.

In fact, “I don’t really know where we stand” is a perfectly good reason to apply.

APPLY

Applications are open until Friday, 25 September 2026.

Tell us a little about your business and the one thing that concerns you most about its cybersecurity.

Applying doesn’t guarantee selection. We’ll choose three businesses where we believe the assessment can provide meaningful value. Information submitted through this form will be treated confidentially and used only for this initiative.
